Putting Rogaine On EyeBrows to make them growposted on 01/28/2009 | Back to Blog Question: I have an odd question- I heard that if I put Rogaine on my eyebrows it will help them grow in a little better- is that true or false?
Answer: The short answer is-true- but the process will be smelly and messy and sort of expensive. Also Rogaine is not opthamologically tested so if it drips down and gets in your eyes it could irritate them- or worse cause discoloration or can even cause the pupils to darken. Not pretty. A better alternative is to use this miraculous product we carry called Revitalash. Revitalash is like Rogaine for lashes but can also be used on eyebrows for the same effect. It was developed by an opthamologist when his wife suffered from Breast Cancer as a solution to her loss of lashes. So it is super safe for the eyes- FDA approved and we have clients using it on their eyebrows that now have to come in for eyebrow waxes they are growing so much hair! It is $135 a bottle (which lasts about six months) and takes about two months to to see the full effects- but it is well worth the wait. If you do try the Rogaine thing just be really careful and get a spoolie brush to apply it and don't use to much- I wouldn't recommend it but I also don't get skydiving and people do it all the time.
