I just wanted to take a minute to write and thank you for the
wonderful services you offer. I was in the spa yesterday for a facial with
Ursla followed by a skin care and makeup consultation with Courtney. The
customer service you all provide is exceptional. I will be in later this
week to pick up all my products and am excited to get started on my new
skin care routine. I am also scheduled to see Ursula so that she can work
her magic on my eyelashes!!! Thank you again for such a great experience. I
have already told some of my friends about Glow and wish you much success!!
-S.P.

Just wanted to tell you thanks for yesterday. I just love how my facial
turned out -- my skin feels so good. I told Bob that he has a new wife -- I
was able to re-create the makeup the way Kelly taught me -- it looks great
(and he thinks so too)!

My mom and I had so much fun with you on Saturday. After shopping, sweating and getting
rained on her make up still looked awesome when we got home. My dad was a little
slacked jawed and that is hard to do. So congrats!!! Also Walt said I looked nice
but the first words out of his mouth were " she did something to your eyebrows".
Didn't I tell you that would be the first thing he'd say? But he said you did a
great job too. He really liked mom's.

Thank you again and I hope your makeovers Sunday were just as appreciated if not
more. I bet they all looked fab - u - lus!!!!!!!

I wanted to thank you for doing such a FANTASTIC job with our make-up on my wedding day back in May!!! Mom and I both felt so beautiful and think you did a great job! You certainly are fun to work with and you kept us laughing all day. Thank you for being patient with me and working with us. I can't wait to come back to Savannah and another facial at Glow! I think I got very spoiled with all of the pre-wedding treatments I received. I feel the need to pamper myself again sometime very soon! I know you wanted to see some pictures, so I will try sending some to you or mom will show you some. Thank you also for the jewelry cleaner- I love having that! You're so good at what you do and we're are very happy and pleased to have worked with you. Thank you again so much for everything!!!
Love,

Love my brows!! Ursula took me to the Eye Wow zone! I definitely
have not been plucking or shaping my brows correctly. I didn't realize how
much of a difference it can make to one's eyes and face --talk about an eye-opener!
Keri Taylor

I love my new eyelashes! All my friends are jealous. Ann S. has an
appointment for this Friday, Dianne L. took a card from me today and my
friend Kathy is asking for this as a birthday gift.

Thank you!

Mylene D.

Courtney,
Thank you so much for such an excellent afternoon yesterday. You have the most
amazing personality and you made Mim and I feel like we had been friends with you
our whole lives! It was so wonderful. We've both already raved to a number of people
about you and your Spa/Boutique. Everyone wants the information! So I hope we can
send you some good business.
Thanks again for all your shopping suggestions as well. We could only make it to
about half of them because we got tired very quickly. We definitely got some jeans,
though, at Bleu Belle! I will be sure to bring my friends and my sister in law to
see you. As soon as I use up my old foundation I will be calling you for the
compact! I really loved how that felt on me yesterday!
Thanks again - it was truly a memorable and fantastic experience! We will certainly
be back!!!
Take care and have a great rest of the week. I'm off to Londontown tomorrow.
All my best,
~lauren~

Hey Becca!

I cannot tell you how excited I was that John got me the Beauty Bag for my Valentine's present! It was so cute- I loved the candle, the bubble bath, the chocolate, the adorable cosmetics bag and love my skincare samples. Especially the New Youth one.  Y'all definitely made it way too easy for him- he said you even gave him a card to write- which he probably should not have admitted. I am sooooo excited for my facial next week.

See you soon- and thanks again for letting me "get Glow"- actually John should really thank you- he was so proud of himself :)

My facial was unreal! The Spa is beautiful!!!

Hi Ursula!

Just wanted to say how much I enjoyed the session today! Finally, I found someone who understood what it is that I am seeking in regards to my skin!

I love the results! Here it is 3 hours later and it still looks great!! This is the glow I have been seeking for all these years.

I appreciate your in depth explanation of everything you performed on my face today as well as making recommendations with future treatments.

Again... thank you for my glow!!

Kerry

Hi Ursula!,
My skin is feeling great! It's cleared up wonderfully. I followed your advice and changed my cleanser to a sensitive skin, non-oil base. I've already noticed a difference! I'm planning on visiting glow regularly for your continued advise on clearing up my skin. Tell Courtney I said hello and thank you so much for everything!
A Happy Glow Fan!!,
Amanda D.

Hi girls! I wanted to thank you both again for doing such a wonderful job on my
make-up for my May 31 wedding in Savannah. I love the line and think you both captured the look I wanted for the big day! I felt beautiful and have both of
you to thank. I hope I don't overload anyone's email with all of these pictures.
Thanks again! I hope you're both doing well!

Traveling Savannah A Girl's Guide: Off The Map Favorites Of A Local Girl

"I have a feeling I am not the only one who hopes to return from a vacation with a tan. I also know that sometimes the weather gods do not help us with our tanning goals, and sometimes, our trips draw to a close with our skin not quite as bronze as we would like. This is where Glow comes in! While they do waxing and threading and facials too, too, if you appreciate a sun-kissed hue like I do (without the UV harm- my dermatologists would be so proud), you should check out Glow's spray tans. A tan is only $35.00 and will last about a week- long enough for you to get the jealous looks from colleagues for a full work week when you return from vacation."

Atlanta Spa and Salon Magazine

After Glow Beauty Boutique @ Glow

Glow MedSpa might have gained a reputation as a provider of innovative skin treatments, but you might not know that the intimate day spa also has an extensive supply of top-of-the-line beauty products in its arsenal. "We're 50% skin and 50% makeup," explains Spa Director Courtney Buntin Victor. According to Victor, a self-proclaimed "Beauty Guru," the most important thing her clients can do is focus on how they take care of their skin after it has been treated. That's where the After Glow Beauty Boutique comes in. "If you have a bad cold, you don't go to CVS, you go to the doctor," Victor reasons. "It's the same with your skin."

All of the products carried by the Beauty Boutique were selected by Victor herself, and represent only the crème de la crème for each area of the face. "Talking about skin and beauty is the number one way to discover what is going on with your self-esteem," says Victor. "If you can improve what's going on on the outside, you can improve what's going on on the inside."

The boutique carries everything you need in your makeup bag, from vitamin scrubs to lip balms. One of our favorites is Poppy the Lipstick Queen's Oxymoron Lip Gloss-a gloss and crème blush combo that gives your cheeks a romantic glow and your lips a full matte color without feeling sticky or rubbing off. Another great pick, Line Tamer, comes from Diane Ranger's Colorescience line (Ranger is known as the godmother of mineral foundation). Victor describes Line Tamer as a "spackle" that smoothes lines and imperfections, and goes on under your foundation. We also encourage you to try The Lip Scrub by Sara Happ-a sugary confection that sloughs dead skin from your lips and smells great doing it.

To check out the products at Glow MedSpa's After Glow Beauty Boutique, set up an appointment with Courtney Buntin Victor, 912.303.9611, www.glowsavannah.com

Here are some rave reviews on some of our fabulous products feaured in the June/July issue

articles_04

"Poppy the Lipstick Queen Oxymoron Matte Gloss. These smooth, sheer gloss pots are designed for the lips, but look smashing on cheeks, too. Comes in four subtle, oxymoronic shades like "Deafening Silence" and "Honest Politician.""

colorescience_01

"Colorescience Corrector Brush. A simple-to-use mineral foundation that feels light as air, but conceals blemishes and even hides imperfections and scars."

The Road to Wellville
By Carrie Johnson
April/May

Whether you call it a MedSpa, a Medi-Spa or a Medical Spa, the fact of the matter is more and more of these medically driven day spas are popping up in the Lowcountry. Medical spas sit somewhere in the middle of the beauty treatment spectrum-more intense than a typical day spa and less invasive than plastic surgery. Typical menu items include such procedures as microdermabrasion, chemical and laser peels (all of which remove layers of skin to brighten and strip skin of common signs of aging) and the ubiquitous Botox and Restylane injections.
In Savannah, a handful of spas have either added these medically-influenced procedures to their menus, or sprouted up specifically to take the years off its clients; we're not getting any younger, so why not? Here are Savannah's premier locations for medical spa procedures, if you'd like to give this alternative to the Fountain of Youth a shot:

What: Glow MedSpa & Beauty Boutique
About: The brainchild of Courtney Buntin Victor and her father, Dr. Jules Victor III, Glow mixes state-of-the-art medical techniques with progressive, cosmopolitan beauty treatments and cosmetic products.
Menu: Chemical peels, Botox, facials, microdermabrasion, oxygen treatments, laser acne treatments, laser collagen rebuilding, permanent laser hair removal, laser leg vein treatments, body bronzing, eyelash extensions, eyelash tinting and perming, waxing, massage and makeup artistry.

Our owner and Beauty Guru Courtney is the Savannah Magazine cover girl! Chosen as one of Savannah's most stylish she dishes on the products that keep her looking fabulous and did her make-up using all of the coveted cosmetics from our Beauty Boutique.

"Our Cover Girls Must-haves: 'I rely on IS Clinical Youth Complex, Remergent Eye Cream, Kiss Me Mascara and primer, VanityMark Eyebrow Pencils to go from Eyebrow to EyeWow, Colorescience Mineral Make-Up Line Tamer Make-Up Primer, Youngblood Mineral Make-Up to wear and repair at the same time, Wallett Lipgloss in any and every shade, and the Beauty Blender Make-Up Sponge for the perfect application every time.'"

In the Fall Style Section they rave about our Lipstick Queen products:

Smart Mouth

By Annabelle Carr and Meaghan Walsh

"Are you a nudist or a wino? That's the question on style-conscious lips this fall. On the runways, lip color was divided into two camps: nude hues made room for brightly colored clothing, while wine and berry added a bit of drama to more refined looks. For Savannahians, this is an opportunity to indulge in more options than our traditional pinks and corals.

'Poppy the Lipstick Queen is obsessed with the glamour of lipstick. She has taken the 10 shades that work perfectly on every woman and made them in two formulas: Saint (sheer and 10 percent pigment) and Sinner (90 percent pigment). My clients have become loyal subjects!'-Courtney Buntin Victor, Spa Director and Make-Up Artist, Glow MedSpa"

Glow believes that "pretty is as pretty does" so we love doing kind deeds and helping our community. We think looking good is great- but doing good is even better! We are honored to help local organizations that do so much good for others and think they are just spa-velous!

Dear Friends,

The Savannah Chapter would like to take this opportunity to say "Thank you" for your contribution to the Savannah Chapter American red Cross. Your compassion enables Red Cross volunteers in your neighborhood to rech out in a personal way when disasters strike; when military members and their families need support; and when emergency first aid ad CPR can save lives. Because of people like you, local residents can receive the help they need when it is needed most. A partnership between our donors and volunteers makes this possible- 24 hours a day, 365 days of the year. Volunteers bring relief and hope, but you make it possible. Again, thank you. Your generousity is greatly appreciated.

Sincerely,

Robin E. Wingate

Dear Glow MedSpa and Beauty Boutique,

Thank you for your generous donation to the Sixth Annual Candler Clays Charity Shoot auction. Your contribution to the auction helped make the Candler Clays a tremendous success. The Candler Clays raised over $60,000 to benefit nursing and staff education at the Nancy N. and J.C. Lewis Cancer & Research Pavilion at St. Joseph's/Candler. Staff education is the key to ensuring St. Joseph's/Candler remains an accredited Magnet Nursing facility - the only hospital in southeast Georgia to receive this very distinguished designation. This recognition means our patients are ensured of receiving the highest level of nursing care whenever they come to St. Joseph's/Candler. There is plentiful gratitude from St. Joseph's/Candler volunteers, members, and staff. By making a donation towards the auction you are not only donating to St. Joseph's/Candler, but to the community of Savannah. The proceeds of this event will be used to fund oncology education. It is support from companies like yours that is instrumental in making this year's event successful! Thank you for your support of the Sixth Annual Candler Clays Charity Shoot and the St. Joseph's/Candler Foundations.

Sincere Regards,

St. Joseph's Hospital

Dear Glow MedSpa & Beauty Boutique,

Dear Glow MedSpa and Beauty Boutique,

Thank you for your generous donation to our annual banquet on February 21, 2008. The Savannah Chapter raised over $50,000 to help fund numerous projects throughout Coastal Georgia. CCA of Georgia is a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting the preservation, conservation, restoration and protection of the marine fisheries and habitats of the Georgia coast both in shore and off shore. CCA of Georgia has help fund the Savannah Artificial Reef Project and the "CCA" Reef, which consists of 23 sections of the old Talmadge Bridge. Many of the numerous on-going projects include fish tagging programs, the salt water Adopt-A-Stream program, Children's Tournaments and the Georgia Redfish Rally.

Thanks and happy fishing,
