As we prepare to unveil Glow Downtown 2.0, we’re delighted to introduce our newest Glow girl, Lindsey Carter.
After earning a master’s degree in nursing, Lindsey started her career in family practice. Then, she shifted to dermatology and ENT nursing when her daughter was born. In 2019, she started her medical spa practice in Kentucky, which she sold when she relocated to the Savannah area in late 2022.
Arriving at aesthetics after other specialties, Lindsey can confidently say that this work is a true labor of love.
“I love how the skin works and reacts,” she says. “Everybody is different, and the challenge is that there’s no protocol, per se.”
Describing her work as a critical thinking puzzle, she relies on her knowledge of anatomy and physiology (as well as the latest medical-grade products and state-of-the-art treatments) to deliver long-lasting patient results.
“Whether the concern is aging skin, acneic skin, or something else altogether, I’m here to find answers for people who might think there is no answer. It might take some time, but we’ll get there together.”
While she has found her passion, she says she’ll never be done learning. “It’s important to invest in continued education to give patients the safe care they deserve,” she says. “Whether the concern is aging skin, acneic skin, or something else altogether, I’m here to find answers for people who might think there is no answer. It might take some time, but we’ll get there together.”
